Google announces new Kids Space mode for tablets


Google has announced a new feature named Kids Space for children on Android tablets for educational purposes. It is said that the Kids Space mode will be a safer and knowledge driven platform for the children which will help children from beware of advertisement and adult content.

Google is working with educational specialists to drive more approved academic content into the play store as the world is moving towards online education system. Google says that apps will have a “Teacher Approved” tag on play store in order to identify apps that are known for your children. Also, kids will be able to create their own AR character in order to engage them in a creative way and teach them in more of a kid’s way. Kids can read books, play games and watch videos from YouTube Kids, Play Store and Download books for free.

This will be applicable from the upcoming tablets and the first tablet to receive this feature is the Lenovo Tab M10 HD Gen 2.
