Xiaomi, with it's sub-brand Redmi is planning to launch a new smartphone with the new i category of smartphones in the lower budget segment, many leaks have been found that the smartphone will be named as Redmi 9i after many smartphones in the same 9 series namely Redmi 9, Redmi 9A and Redmi 9 Prime.
Although it seems a little awkward to launch many smartphones in the same lowe budget segment, it is hoped that the Redmi 9i will be more promising when compared to the other three successors.
The Redmi 9i is supposedly to launch at Rs.7,999 and will come in three color variants namely Midnight Black, Sea Blue, and Nature Green. The base variant which is priced at 7k will come with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage which is outstanding for the price point and the higher version will have a higher storage capacity of 128 GB. It is expected to come with the Snapdragon 400 series processor.
