In recent days, rumors were flying around the internet
that One Plus (a BBK Electronics owned company) is coming up with a new budget
smartphone for consumers who were fond of their premium segment smartphones. It
is said that the new One Plus Device will be named as One Plus Z/Lite and will
be powered by the MediaTek’s Dimensity 1000 5G processor.One Plus Nord
Few days ago, the company came up with a new Instagram page One Plus
Nord which revealed about the new budget phone’s name One Plus Nord. The phone
is debuting in India, Europe, UK and a few places in North America. Also, the
leaks mention that the phone will possess a 6.55 inch 90Hz OLED Display, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. The phone is also expected to
offer a 48-megapixel main camera as well as a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens.
Also, One Plus made a trial Flash sale in Europe for a limited 100 units of One
Plus Nord and the units were sold within seconds. This shows the intensity of
hype which has been created around the internet.

The Pre-orders for the One Plus Nord will be available in India within a few weeks as mentioned by the CEO according to Tech Radar. As of now, the company has a One Plus Nord page in Amazon India’s website which says “Notify Me”. Carl Pei, the company’s co-founder explained about the reason behind the name NORD.
