Flipkart an online shopping platform is being used by
millions of Indians and has a very repetitive customer base. Today, i.e., on
28/07/2020 Tuesday Flipkart announced a new service for the delivery systems.
Flipkart Quick is the new service launched by Flipkart which will deliver over
a wide variety of 2000 products in less than 90 minutes of time. These 200
products include a wide variety of categories including, grocery, dairy, meat, and
stationery items. As of now, the service is rolled out in Bengaluru, soon the
services will be available in all metro cities as well.
After Jio launched its Jio Mart service, Flipkart is
entering to digitize the Kirana Stores/ small grocery shops near our households.
This service will be mainly available for grocery products. And for the location
system, they have introduced advanced location mapping for better time
management and to avoid last-minute late deliveries. This new location mapping
will not include the traditional pin code system.
Flipkart Quick will have a default delivery fee of Rs.29
and the orders will be delivered from 6 am to midnight. The website will
offer a 90-minute delivery option or wait
for a two-hour slot and pick their time slots.
