Technical Specifications:

Redmi has various products in its line up but it has done great in the extremely low budget. This time around they have increased their pricing and quality for some strange reason.

Redmi 9 prime consists of a 6.5-inch display in the front with a notch on the top.

On the right side of the phone, there is a power on/off button with the volume rockers.

On the left, there is a dual sim slot with a dedicated micro SD slot.

On the top, there is a secondary noise cancellation microphone and an IR blaster.

On the bottom, there is a Type-C port for charging and data transfer with a primary microphone and a 3.5mm jack for earphones.

On the back of the phone, there is a textured pattern with a quad-camera setup and a flash.

The Redmi 9 Prime is priced at Rs.9999 for the 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant and for the 4 GB RAM 128 GB storage it is priced at Rs.11,999. It has a massive 6.53-inch Full HD+ display with great viewing angles.

Speaking about the Camera, it has a Quad camera setup, the main sensor is a 13 MP sensor, the second sensor is an 8 MP sensor which an ultra-wide sensor with an angle of 118.2° FOV, the third sensor is a 5 MP macro sensor, the fourth is a 2 MP portrait sensor. These cameras are just basic sensors for normal photos. Not a big deal about that. The front camera is an 8 MP sensor. It has a fingerprint sensor for protection on the back of the phone.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core CPU with ARM G52 for graphics GPU. For power backup, it has a massive 5020 mAh battery to hold the device for 1 and a half-day. It also includes an 18 w fast charging support, but only the 10-watt charger is included in the box.

Overall, it is a decent phone for a normal user if it is bought at Rs.9999 for the 4 GB / 64 GB variant. The 128 GB variant is way too higher priced, so don’t buy it just for storage.
